My Story

My journey toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor started at a young age when I felt, with an unwavering certainty, that helping people would be both my passion and purpose. That certainty eventually drove me to obtain a Master's Degree in Counseling from Oakland University in 2013. I have since put that passion and education to use by working as both an In-Home Therapist and Outpatient Clinician at YOU, Inc., a non-profit organization serving youth and families in Central Massachusetts from 2015-2021. After moving to Wisconsin in 2021 and leaving YOU, Inc., I opened my private practice, Abounding Hope & Wellness LLC, where I currently focus on serving adult women via telehealth. Throughout the years, I also poured my passion into learning more about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy and Trauma-Informed Therapy. I recently obtained a Certification as an Integrative Mental Health Provider because knowing how to support the whole person (body, mind, spirit) is important to me.

My Mission

My mission is tied intricately to the name of my practice: Abounding Hope & Wellness. It is my mission to provide counseling in such a way that hope and wellness are qualities that grow abundantly in your life.

I am here for you.

Life can feel simple, easy and beautiful, and also hard, complex, overwhelming and painful. Part of being human means that we are going to experience the full range of human emotions, thoughts, urges, sensations and memories. Sometimes though, no matter how hard we try, we get really stuck in painful emotions, thoughts or memories. I am here for you when you get stuck, and together we will get you moving forward again.
